now all I need to do is cut out Michelle's bag - giraffe print front panel on similar bag. Dunno whether the bag will be brown with yellowy sashing & lining or reversed. After that is done (all on machine!! I'm not taking it out my door until it's finished) I have a table runner to do for a friend who is overseas for a month. And the penguins will travel to & from Craft group until they are finished. Attachments:

The bag turned out wonderfully well! I'm sure Anne will enjoy using it proudly for a very long time.
I wonder if you'll be able to keep to your intention to machine sew the next one? Did you decide which way to use the brown and yellow on that one?
You'll be keeping us in suspense for a while, waiting for you to complete so many additional projects before finishing the penguins.

hmmmmm I was planning to get around to Michelle's bag ... and make Maragart's table runner before she returned from a month inn France & UK, but tonight I realised I really need to make a 60th birthday pressie for the last weekend in August (oops) Dallas sings in a choir named Ecopella www.youtube.com/user/eeklyss/videos - she's the tall blond soprano in the back row & was my sister's best friend at school. I'll just whip up a green bag or a small panel in my spare time. sandra (looking for some spare time)

something is picking on me - I've made several attempts to post a pic & previewed each time AND modified the post to re-select the file & yet again previewed - nuffin. So I typed that I'd post the pic on my photowebsite, did so, & posted the link to the website & finally hit Post Reply & a message from proboards appeared saying something about checking my browser, but it killed the post. Dunno why - surely it was a harmless post. ah, well. never mind - here's the link to my website. my.opera.com/sandra%20in%20sydney/albums/show.dml?id=316859sandra

Sandra, I have no idea why the pictures didn't take. I'll try to find time to fiddle with images myself and see what happens.
Your photo site is lovely, but there is so much there, I don't know where to look to find "what I whipped up". Can you give us a clue or two? Thanks, rags

I had no trouble posting a photo to this thread: cupofkindness.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=184&page=1I did have trouble opening it by clicking on the image. I had to click on the blue letter code for the image. If I remember correctly, one tricky thing with posting images is that you will not see the image until you actually post the message and if you attempt to modify the post at all the image will disappear. There may also be a maximum image size, but I don't know. I re-sized mine to 500 x whatever. Could you please try again? Once you've located your chosen image, post the message without making any other changes. I'm still in suspense as to what you whipped up. Thanks, rags

Awww he's adorable! He looks so cuddly. Who is the lucky recipient? Or is he staying with you indefinitely?

Eek the chorister bear was handed over at the birthday party & is sitting on my friend's piano. This is the view from her back room Your friend has a lovely view! Everything looks so lush and green. It looks as if Spring has arrived there. The sunset must have been lovely too. It took me three tries to open the photo up larger. The first two clicks brought up only the ads. Grrr! I think it's deliberate on the part of the board host to make us look at the annoying ads longer? rags
