herewith the felt versions of what will be the appliques on my iMac cover! Tho I dunno about the tall grey sheep, I think it needs more work. note the authentic strand of my hair across the bottom sheep! Button sheep is decorated with some of my Great Aunt's buttons & other old ones I bought & might not have buttons on he applique. His designer intended him to be in a frame but he works well as a toy. One of my students has made one in pink & is now working on a blue one. I saw the perfect material for the background & I'm hoping I can find the right colourway. I thought of putting them on a grassy looking green, until I saw the blue knitting! Not real knitting - but a patchwork fabric. I'm emailing a friend who works in another branch of the shop to see if they have it. Attachments:

Sandra, The sheep are very cute! What a great way to use special buttons. I didn't know that iMacs needed to be covered. Do I understand correctly that the sheep in the picture are standing in for flatter sheep which you have yet to craft and applique on the cover? I hope that you'll be able to get the fabric that you want to use for it. Nice to see your authentic hair. LOL! It would be nice to see the rest of you sometime. rags

These are the felt toy versions of the future appliques.
My old iMac had a crazy patchwork covering the screen to make it look pretty (well, really so I could display the crazy patchwork!) & it did keep off the dust.
I had just finished reading a thread in Mudcat where you were mentioned when I logged into Cuppa - herewith a comment from Stilly River Sage -
Sandra, I clicked on the second link and found a familiar name as moderator on that site - Ragdall! Now there's someone we haven't hear from for a while, who is always doing interesting things. If you two speak or write, tell her to drop in and catch us up on her activity, please!
the thread is the June thread on decluttering & exercise where I make a very occasional appearance. My latest decluttering was 1 shopping bag of clothes, another of teddies & 5 pieces of kitchenware!

Lovely flock, Sandra. The button sheep with its nose in the air looks very proud of itself to have such an elegant covering.
