Yes. You must. I don't know how I missed seeing your "recent stuff" in June? They are all attractive and, I'm sure are useful as well.

finished this today - it is one of the props used by a retired music teacher friend teaching music to preschoolers - they are guided by an assortment of toys & puppets in their search for music. They lean to play various instruments by ear & to read dots, to sing & gave a small concert for their parents recently! I just sat the teddie in the basket to take the pic, he's not part of the program as he is not an Australian animal! sandra Attachments:

I love it Sandra and what a lovely way to learn we had a teacher who thought the best way to teach 7 year olds to like music was to walk around with the tawse(belt) over his shoulder and force feed us Choppin I still struggle to listen to that composer to this day. I wish I could have made something like this for the twins when they were younger.

I used to have a cartoon on my desk - timid little man sitting at a desk under a fierce sign FUN STRICTLY FORBIDDEN IN THE OFFICE.
Some education systems had the same policy.

It's beautiful, Sandra. So perfect! Is the balloon all hand-stitched?

all hand stitched, balloon with other characters in the program video of Australian magpie singing Wikipedia on Australian magpie - Its complex, musical, warbling call is one of the most familiar Australian bird sounds. In Denis Glover's poem "The Magpies", the mature magpie's call is described as quardle oodle ardle wardle doodle,[39] one of the most famous lines in New Zealand poetry, and as waddle giggle gargle paddle poodle, in the children's book Waddle Giggle Gargle by Pamela Allen.[40] Attachments:

While I was visiting a young lad arrived for his lesson - he hadn't practiced! but he played a tune on the keyboard (no search for the correct notes, a real tune!) & also on his recorder. He also sang & at one stage asked if he could hold one of the puppets to help him.

What a fun way to teach music! I love the concept of using an octopus for the eight notes.
