forecast is for 17-19 at night & 28 or 29 in the day, light winds & NO RAIN!!!!! I might leave my raincoat behind (but I do have a one-use raincoat in the bottom of my trolley)

is this enough? Sun over inner city historic mansion used as a Catholic girls school Sun over Sydney Harbour & approach to the Harbour bridge Sun over Court House at Yass, a couple of hours south west of Sydney.

Emile Mercier drew this in the 50s, but altho. the world changes, in many ways it stays the same. Notice Grandpa with his umbrella (ps. he also had an amazing old car), & the bloke whose shoes fold over the gutter, shrdlu the Linotype machine's version of the typewriter's qwerty was everywhere, cartoons often had springs under their foundations, gravy & gravy tins also abounded, as did cats & dogs & kids ... Thank you Sandra, Very cute cartoon! It's good to be reminded that little has changed in our world, other than our anxiety levels. The links you provided were very interesting. Emile Mercier included much detail in his drawings. His many familiar details to watch for must have brought smiles to the faces of his followers. I hope that you, and all here had a Happy Christmas. Best wishes for hope and peace in 2019. I've been enjoying our grandkitten who joined our family late in September.
