Lovely. It's like a peaceful window on your wall.

It looks as if your real window is keeping the plants happy. ... and that reminds me, I need to water mine.

my bedroom window faces north, the living room window east towards the next building, both windows have happy plants! except when I don't water them enough ...

After seeing all your healthy plants, I watered my houseplants this morning. I was shocked when I recorded it on my calendar and discovered that more than two weeks had passed since their previous watering, poor little things. This afternoon I watered the geraniums in the basement window. They had survived severe frost in their flowerbeds when I was out of town in October. I was hoping that some which now appeared lifeless might send up sprouts from the roots, but had to admit that they've had enough time to do that. I've removed six pots of soil and dead stems from the collection. I'll have to make a point of rooting cuttings this spring to have enough plants to put back out in the garden in June.

Aw, rags...It's sad when we lose plants, but so fun to see new ones grow.

Yes, maeve, it is. As it was frost that killed the plants, not disease, I'm hoping that it will be okay to plant some cuttings that have been rooting in water into those pots of soil that now are plantless. It should give them a good start before summer. It will be a long time before I can use any soil that is outdoors.

for many decades I've covered my double-sided mirror to keep the dust off. As I repaired the battered old paper bag once again I thought, it needs a proper cover! I checked out my fabric, found a piece the perfect size! & here it is. It's 9.5 inches wide.

Sandra, The mirror cover is beautiful! What a clever idea.
Maeve, That sounds like excellent fertilizer. Is the fish smell very strong? I used fish fertilizer, outdoors, many years ago. The odor was very strong. I don't think it would be pleasant to use it in the house.

thank you fans! no I need to think of a new project that I can take to Craft group.
I have several sewing machine projects on the (no) go! One partly made nightgown & another cut out, 1 length of waterproof material to make a carry bag & a raincoat bag. But I need handwork.

The Neptune's Harvest linked above has a very mild odor to my dainty nose, and it dissipates by the next day.
Knitting mittens here- home with a concussed husband...worrying.
