From: cupofkindness.proboards.com/post/3796/threadI took it to Friday Craft group yesterday & Gail (only member present on unbearably hot day!) took it's pic. Sandra, It's hard to imagine you enduring almost 41C. I don't know how you can do it? We're sitting here on a sunny day at a comfortable -8 C, outdoors. Inside the house it is +20 to +21C during days and evenings, +19 at night. I've noticed now that the temperatures are below zero, some of the school children passing by on the street have switched from shorts and t-shirts to wearing long pants and hoodies. Some are even wearing coats.

To help Sandra cool off. This was looking across the street from my house about a week ago.

Chills me down, too! We are still awaiting snow in our part of Maine- just some flurries so far, nothing on the ground. Very odd.

I have friends visiting Canada & they sent a pic & a report ... in Banff, Canada where it is currently -12 degrees, snowing and occasional glimpses of a very thin sun, low to the horizon.
Sydney (Australia) forecast for Christmas day is 25C, Lengthy sunny periods. Winds northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h, increasing to 30 km/h near the coast during the afternoon.

9C here, Sandra, without a glimpse of snow until Monday, when we might get serious storm.
Joyful Christmas to one and all. Thank you, rags, for this little community. Maeve

-12 C here. We skyped with my son and family in Edmonton earlier today. They were leaving to drive to the small community where his wife's family live. It's in the direction of Jasper, Alberta, He said it is -30 C there. We have a white Christmas. My neighbours have Christmas visitors. (It's not really a used car lot next door. ) White Christmas by diffuse, on Flickr

-24C here tonight with freezing fog. Should be beautiful frost in the morning but I doubt I'll be inclined to go out with my camera. Our cars have electric heaters in the engine blocks that we plug in when it gets this cold. My son, who, with his family is visiting for a couple of days, remarked that even though he'd plugged his car in last night, it had difficulty starting this morning. Thankfully, he discovered the problem this evening. I'd removed the extension cords for the cars from the carport outlet last week when it was warmer and I'd needed to plug in the snow blower to clean the driveway and hadn't plugged them back in when I plugged my car into the other end. I'm glad that he checked.
