Earlier photos of this project are mixed into the long "on the go" topic. You can see them all in the Rug Hooking set on my Flickr. thanks. rags

Thanks, rags, I remember. Joan is doing a beautiful job completing the work. As I recall, you drew it out? Nice design drafting.

Thanks, rags, I remember. Joan is doing a beautiful job completing the work. As I recall, you drew it out? Nice design drafting. Hi maeve, Joan had someone with special equipment draw up the full size design on paper. Joan and I traced that design on the rug canvas with marking pens. very striking & such a lot of work, no wonder we haven't seen Joan here for a while. Hello Sandra, Joan was travelling, was ill when she returned, and has been working a bit. I've been nudging her to come and post here when she has time and energy. rags

Sandra, I believe if and when I finish this rug my next project will be something very, very, small. I have some cross stitch and also embriodery also a closet full of wool ? What ever catches my interest but not one that takes several years. Joan

if and when maybe you can do a little cross stitch between blocks of rug! Like having morning or afternoon snacks between meals!

When I visited Joan today she had been working on her rug and allowed me to take photos to show you her progress. A closer view of the top section: rags

Thankyou ladies for the comments. It is encouraging I promised myself I would finish this year. It takes about 30 minutes to do one blue square. so another few months and I will be done with any good luck.
