This site uses UBB code instead of HTML, but it makes formatting easy by providing buttons you can click to get the code. UBB uses square brackets. I'll use ( ) in my examples, because the square ones disappear. If you have a photo on another site, and know the URL of that photo you can make it appear in your post here. *This will only work if the other site allows you to link directly to it. Some sites discourage it. When you are posting, you can add an image by clicking the icon of a framed picture and placing the photo URL between the two img tags. Be careful not to leave any spaces. Example: (img)i27.photobucket.com/albums/c175/ragdalls/CofK/070.jpg(/img) looks like this: The icon will allow you to make a "blue clicky". Example (url) (/url) (url=cupofkindness.proboards.com/index.cgi)a link to this board (/url) looks like this: a link to this boardHave fun! rags

If you would like to add several photos and line up titles or descriptions with the photos, you can use the table function [table][tr][td][/td][/tr][/table] For each column you will need a (td)(/td) tag pair. The information you wish to appear is inserted between the (tr) tag and the (td) tag. It could be a label such as "Petunia" or the (img)(/img) tags with a photo URL between them. A blank layout for three columns would look like this in code: [table] [tr][td][/td][td][/td][td][/td][/tr] [/table The (tr) begins a row, (/tr) ends it. A blank layout for two rows of three columns would look like this in code: [table] [tr][td][/td][td][/td][td][/td][/tr] [tr][td][/td][td][/td][td][/td][/tr] [/table An example. I used the first row for the names, the second row for the photos. Flickr demands that I also include a link to the photo page so I have that in there as well. Petunias | Bleeding Heart | Mallow | Red Rose | | | | |
Here's the code: [table]
[tr][td]Petunias[/td][td]Bleeding Heart[/td][td]Mallow[/td][td]Red Rose[/td][/tr]
[tr][td][url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/diffuse/4763427814/][img]http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4097/4763427814_f5a40f3d1e_t.jpg[/img][/url][/td][td][url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/diffuse/4762789089/][img]http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4094/4762789089_59be35cb75_t.jpg[/img][/url][/td][td][url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/diffuse/4763428004/][img]http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4095/4763428004_fa552f174b_t.jpg[/img][/url][/td][td][url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/diffuse/4763428256/][img]http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4114/4763428256_3c9b31107a_t.jpg[/img][/url][/td][/tr]
[/table] I repeat the rows until I finish. Then I added the "end table" tag. (/table)

I have forgotten where they reside, Allison, but they are from ragdall's cupboard. Send rags a PM and she'll soon sort it out!
