What a beautiful indoor garden! The "flash photo 7.30 Tuesday night" shows a mass of blooms.
Very interesting about the "hip" on the Koskiosko. I wonder if it will contain viable seeds?

Because we know they cannot last we need to focus on appreciating the blooms while we can. Isn't it wonderful to have photographs to preserve them long after the plants have moved on in their cycles?

some folks can only appreciate them by putting them in a vase! I took some pics this morning & will download them tonight - a different plant has another flower! It had one when I bought it but it died, now it has a new flower & 2 buds, the woman who sold it to me was right, it would keep flowering indoors.

& I'm not sure why I didn't post anything since early June! I've had lots of flowers up to 13th July then they all stopped flowering, the pink flower was the last one I saw. Today I noticed a new flower from my orange zygocactus. The rest of the window is green, with a few spots of faded colour from the dried old flowers. I wonder if I'll get any more flowers! Very pretty! Nice to have colour in your home through the winter. It must be coming up to spring for you now?
