Cute "Canadian Road sign" goo.gl/images/GyRKfRYears ago I participated in a local league. Now I'm a spectator, via TV. The Scotties Tournament of Hearts is being played in Montreal, Quebec, this week. It's the Canadian women's championship. There are three draws each day. Each is about three hours long. Watching nine hours of curling each day becomes a full time job. LOL! If you haven't seen curling this is a video of the current Team Canada Skip (leader's) best shots from last year's Tournament of Hearts. rags

I thought that cartoon road sign was very funny. Curling must seem very boring to anyone who hasn't played it, but it is very popular in Canada. When these big events are being played, any "public" place that has a TV will have it tuned to the curling. I remember going for a CT scan at the hospital a couple of years ago. The TV in the MRI/CT waiting room was tuned to curling. When called to come into the scan room it's tempting to ask if the tech. would wait until the end is finished.
