today I almost created the top - I didn't have the threads with me to finish the tree trunks, reddish birds etc. I bought a piece of blue fabric for the border & will use a bit of bias binding between the top & border. I also bought a tin for my hostess of last weekend - she has 5 quilt tops that need finishing - one is 12 years old! sandra (going off line to eat dinner then get out my machine so I can present both wallhangings to their new owners tomorrow) Attachments:

That tin is so funny! She'll love it!
The wall hanging is shaping up quickly. Please remember to take pictures of the finished product.

How elegant, Sandra! Beautiful color/colour choices, also.

Then I whipped up a set of lingerie bags, using a large remnant of flannelette a member of my craft group was giving away - Poodles! I cried. They range on size from 18 x 13" to 12 x 9" & used up almost all the fabric. And after so many years, I finally found a use for a length of variegated cord. Attachments:

The cushion looks wonderful, Sandra. Your sister will love it. Are the clever lingerie bags for her too? What a great find the poodle flannelette was.

You did a wonderful job of quilting Megan's painting. Megan will be thrilled! Did she know that you were working on this?
