It's that time of year again, my favorite holiday.
I'm in countdown mode. Cleaned the house, shopped for food, made the cornbread and biscuits for the dressing. (they have to sit out for a couple of days to get stale)
I'll make a pecan pie and a chocolate pie this year. I'm still asking everyone what they want. The little girls usually want jello, son #1 wants green bean casserole instead of broccoli casserole. I want sweet potatoes and cranberries. I usually cook the turkey the day before, but lots of people insist on cooking it Thanksgiving morning. We all agree that the leftovers are the best of all.
