Catching up with a few more backyard birds. A male Wilson's Warbler, September 5th. September 6th, White-crowned Sparrows began arriving back for a visit on their southward migration. September 9th, American Robins came through on migration, looking for ripe berries. September 13th, Young Cedar Waxwings gorged on "Bird Cherries" across the street from us. I was surprised last Saturday, (October 15th), a day that we had a lot of fresh snow, to see this little Yellow-rumped Warbler foraging for insects on the Birch beside my window.

My sparrows would be so jealous of all those lovely colours what beautiful birds.
