I finished the hanging at Craft on Friday & picked up the twig in the garden of the Neighbourhood Centre where the group meets & sewed in the label just before I left for the party on Saturday afternoon!
Then I went hunting around my place for a bag. Bags that would fit an A4 hanger were too small for the twig, so I finally found a gi-normous paper carry bag which had could have contained a week's shopping, which swamped the little hanger rolled around it's twig!

I finally finished Joanna's bunny, a sashiko cushion made of a delicate fabric that turned into a wall-hanging with the addition of a border of Japanese bunny fabric - well it was tad too pale for a 2year old. Taking pics of it was a problem! I ended up pinning it to a curtain & taking pics with & without flash till I got one that (almost) works! - without the bamboo hanger, but everyone knows what a length of bamboo looks like! progress report on Pam's poodle cushion, for her 60th birthday a few days short of a year ago. The quilting will be diagonal lines - a type of poodle halo! Some folks say dogs have owners & cats have servants, but my sister & brother-in-law are owned by Kali the poodle, as they were by her predecessor Mitty, both black Toy poodles. Attachments:

Lovely work as usual, Sandra. I especially like the rabbit panel.

thankyou, maeve
the purple border is still not the right colour, it's brighter. Sometime back I tried to find the fabric online (google 'japanese fabric rabbits' & ya get zillions, but not that one!)

Both are lovely, Sandra! Joanna and Pam will be thrilled to get them. The poodle looks very realistic and the bunny is very cute.

They look like a very happy family. The girls are so lucky to have you making things for them.
How will you transfer Megan's painting to fabric? It sounds like a fun thing to do. I'm waiting to see the result, too.

That's an interesting site, Sandra. Lots of other ideas there, too. I've stored the link.
So you will scan the artwork first to make an image to transfer? What fun!

first I reversed the image, then printed it. Next I'll iron it on to calico. My plan is to treat it as a quilt top, then stitch around the elements in the drawing. simple
