I googled. I was surprised to learn that there are examples of yarn bombing in Vancouver. If it's there, who knows, it might turn up here too?

I love the pictures. Sometimes, though, I'm a little put off by "art" in natural places like woods and forests. Here is a twig sculpture at Bernheim Forest. This one is not too bad because it's in a "tame" area, and it doesn't compete with the natural beauty of the forest.

The "sculpture" is amazing and doesn't seem out of place in those surroundings.

That's an interesting looking sculpture, too. It's difficult to get a sense of scale without someone standing near it.

Is that a "child's head" against the rock in the background?

I can't imagine the planning that goes into doing something like this. They did a fantastic job of fitting the covering on the tank. I love the way that they made "wheels" where the wheels on the vehicle are.

I found a picture here of the people who did the knitting. The article says that they started in September 2012.
