Mary, Each of these quilts is breathtakingly amazing! The girls will be so blessed to get them. They're certain to become family heirlooms.
Your photos of the quilts turned out very well, too.

I gave the quilt to Jenna Sunday. She loved it. (I'm the one on the left in the picture )

Mary, What wonderful quilts! I wished I had the patience to do that work. They are a labour of love. joan

I finished Laura's orange quilt. She'll be getting married in January, and I'll give her the quilt at a shower later this month. When she stayed with me summer before last, she'd go to the bedroom to look at "her" quilt in progress. When I took it with me to stay with my mother in the hospital, Laura missed it!
Now I'm working on Nancy's green quilt. I try to work at least 1 1/2 hours every day It has more quilting in it because of all the cross hatching.

Here is a UK (University of Kentucky) pillow I made for Mrs. G's nephew. (She's the 94 year old lady I stayed with last September.) I made if from the scraps from the throw I'm working on now for my son. Even the stuffing was given to me. This ragged edge quilting is really easy and fast.

Even the back was made from scraps of all the materials. I wanted to learn how to do a quick "crazy" design of many materials so I can use it someday for the center of an applique sunflower.

Here's the throw I made using the raggedy edge technique.

another wow!
is ragged edge really torn - with loose threads I could pull out as I once did for a chenille dressing gown?
wot fun if so.

Yes, probably so. You clip to the seam line, then throw it in the washer so it will curl and ravel.
